Our Signature STEP by STEP process from Inquiry to Day of Coordination
Step 1
Inquiry
I am honored that you are considering STEP for your wedding day. Selecting a wedding planner is almost as important as selecting a spouse.. so honestly, I’m flattered you’re here!

Step 2
Client Consultation
You will have the option to meet in person over a “cuppa”, or via Zoom video call.
The initial consultation will be a 45 min – one hour meeting with owner, Christina Collins. During this time, Christina will delve into your vision for your big day, getting to know you both as a couple.
Once there is a better understanding of your needs, Christina will help you select a planning package that is the best fit for you and your fiancé.
Step 3
Proposal
Once we have discussed exactly what you looking for, and you would like to move forward with our services, you will receive a custom planning agreement (contract) electronically which outlines everything within your package selection as well as investment details and preferred payment methods.
Step 4
First Meeting
Now, the true luxury experience begins. Allow us to guide you through the planning process with effortless ease, as we bring your vision to life with impeccable style and sophistication.
We will send you your Client portal login information and we will schedule our first kick off meeting to get the ball rolling!
The Wedding Planning kick off meeting will be a chance to talk ALL things wedding and answer all of your questions as well as the next STEP’s to take in the planning process.

Phase 1
Budget & Vendor Team
The first phase of planning is establishing a clear and concise budget. Once the overall budget is settled, the next step is to select your vendor team. You will then receive a detailed budget breakdown, accessible through our online planning portal, outlining each vendor payment to keep everything on track.
Phase 2
Design & Vision
It’s time for creativity and everything pretty!
Together, we’ll dive deep into your vision, collaborating closely with all your wedding professionals to refine the overall aesthetic, look, and feel of your special day and bring your ideas to life!.
STEP will then curate a personalized online style guide for you, complete with a unique color palette and a collection of your favorite inspiration images.
During this phase, we’ll also source key elements such as your florist, event rentals, hair and makeup team, and wedding cake, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision.
Our goal is for you to enjoy your celebration while everything falls into place as planned.
Phase 3
Coordination & Execution
Oversee all logistical details and final preparations to ensure all elements come together on the wedding day.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I’m sending out final timelines, floor plans, seating arrangements, and handling emails and logistics with your wedding professionals.
STEP events coordinates the rehearsal the night before the wedding, and we provide up to 10 hours of service on the day-of.
