I founded Southern Tier Event Planning to live out my passion of helping people plan their dream weddings and memorable events. Working as a venue coordinator, I quickly realized I enjoyed executing events, but wanted to be a bigger part of the entire planning process.Over the years, I have mastered good time-management skills and come to realize that meticulousness and attention to detail are essential. No detail is too small, everything from the tablecloths to the order of the speakers can mean the difference between an average event and a perfectly-executed event you’ll never forget.

I am a Certified Wedding Planner through The Certified Wedding Planner Society, the nation’s leading wedding planning certification program. Though my passion for the event industry began long before I founded Southern Tier Event Planning.

2008
Niagara University – Swimming & Diving
After graduating from high school I attended Niagara University for Hospitality and Tourism Management. I swam at NU specializing in the Butterfly. Swimming has always held a special place in my heart, as I first discovered my passion for it during my childhood, and continued to identify as a swimmer throughout my formative years in Middle and High School. I was a swimmer, “Dan’s Swimmer”.
2010
Study Abroad In Europe
I studied Hospitality abroad in Paris, France, Rome Italy, and Salamanca, Spain. I had the amazing opportunity to fully immerse myself in the European culture. This experience proved to be nothing short of remarkable, as it not only instilled in me a passion for travel, but also provided me with a fresh outlook on the field of Hospitality.
2012
I graduated from ICMS & Niagara University
in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Event Management. During my time in Australia, I completed my studies at The International College of Management Sydney, located in the picturesque Manly Beach. It was during my academic pursuit at ICMS that I had the pleasure of meeting a charming Australian gentleman, who would later become my spouse. Not realizing this at the time, I traveled back to the US to work in NYC as the Restaurant and Events Manager at The Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel.
2014
it wasn’t always rainbows and butterflies …
After a year of living & working in Australia it was mandatory to leave the country while awaiting approval for Visa renewal. My Australian boyfriend and I chose to move to New Zealand! While in New Zealand, I worked at the famous Cardrona Hotel, and lead horse & ATV rides through the mountains. I fell more in love with the variety of cultures and traditions that come from the travel and tourism industry.
2016
I married the love of my life
in Australia on December 18th … It was magical
2020-21
After helping so many of my beautiful couples navigate..
the COVID-19 restrictions during the pandemic I realized where my heart lies. I longed to be a larger part in the planning process and Southern Tier Event Planning became a reality! I obtained my Certification from the Certified Wedding Planner Society as a Certified Wedding Planner and was also Certified in Design Fundamentals.
2025
master certified ..
This year, I proudly received my Master Certification through the Certified Wedding Planning Society! As a Certified Wedding Planner, my goal has always been to provide my couples with stress-free celebrations that reflect their unique love story.
Earning this advanced certification has allowed me to take my expertise to the next level – continuing to grow, refine my skills, and stay on top of the latest industry insights, trends, and best practices.
This certification represents another step in my ongoing dedication to making your day absolutely perfect!
2009
Disney World Internship
While attending NU, I studied and worked the front desk at the famous Walt Disney World Hotel in Orlando Florida (The Caribbean Beach Resort) and received my “Ducktorate Degree”.
2011
American Cruise Lines
I spent the summer of 2011 working as a stewardess, deckhand, and housekeeper aboard the “Queen of the West”, while navigating through the Columbia and Snake Rivers. (The Lewis and Clark Expedition Tour) During my time aboard, I learned many different layers of the Hospitality industry.
2013
Front office Pier One Sydney Harbor.. The Blue Hotel
After a little over a year living and working in NYC, I moved back to Australia to work in the hotel and events industry internationally.. and to follow my heart! I worked front desk of the Pier One on Sydney Harbor, and the Blue Hotel.
2015
After living & working abroad …
We returned to the Southern Tier to put down some roots and I became the Conference and Event Coordinator at Holiday Valley Resort where I was responsible for managing and planning all corporate events.
2019
New CHallenges & Roles
After a few years, I was ready for a new challenge and accepted the position of Event and Restaurant Manager at a Country Club in Olean, NY where I fell more in love with all things wedding and design.
2022-23
The birth of our beautiful incredible baby boy.
Over the moon delighted to welcome our first baby with the man of my dreams! Assisting my couples plan the most amazing day of their lives AND spending time with my son is truly MY DREAM and I can’t thank all my incredible couples enough!
2024
We welcomed another member to our family
And just like that, we are a family of eight! Four Siberian huskies, and another beautiful baby BOY. My heart is full, living the dream I’ve always envisioned, and it’s all thanks to the love and support from all of YOU!

have led me to develop a unique set of skills to execute your perfect, one of a kind event.
